Decentr Wallet Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Decentr Wallet ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our browser extension. Decentr Wallet is a non-custodial multi-chain cryptocurrency wallet for Ethereum, Cardano, and TON.

1. Summary

We do not collect, store, or share your personal data on our servers. We do not have servers. Your seed phrases, private keys, and wallet data remain on your device, encrypted with your password. You are in full control of your funds at all times.

2. Information stored locally on your device

The following information is stored only on your device, using your browser's local extension storage:

• Your encrypted seed phrase (encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key derived from your password)
• Your wallet settings (RPC endpoints, auto-lock timer, account index)
• Wallet configuration (password salt, initialization vectors)

This data never leaves your device except as described in section 4. We cannot recover your password or seed phrase. If you lose them, we cannot restore access to your wallet.

3. Information sent to third-party services

To display balances, transaction history, token data, and to broadcast transactions, the extension sends limited, non-identifying blockchain data to the following public services:

• Ethereum RPC providers (e.g., publicnode.com) — address queries for balances and transaction submission
• Blockscout (eth.blockscout.com) — transaction history and ERC-20 token balances for your Ethereum addresses
• Blockfrost (cardano-preprod.blockfrost.io) — Cardano address data, transaction history, and fee estimation
• TON Center (toncenter.com) — TON address balances, transaction history, and transaction submission
• TON API (tonapi.io) — jetton (token) balances for your TON addresses

These requests contain only blockchain addresses you are querying and transaction payloads you choose to broadcast. Your seed phrase, private keys, and password are never sent to any third-party service. Please review each provider's own privacy policy for their data practices.

4. dApp interactions

When you connect Decentr Wallet to a dApp, the dApp may receive your public blockchain address (only after you unlock the wallet and approve the request). Transaction and signature requests initiated by dApps are always displayed to you in a confirmation window before signing. We do not track which dApps you visit or connect to.

5. Analytics and tracking

Decentr Wallet does not include analytics, telemetry, tracking, or advertising. No cookies are set by the extension.

6. Children's privacy

Decentr Wallet is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the extension evolves. Changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
